Digital Collectibles: NFT marketplace with a social layer
Where collecting gets social — a web platform and mobile app built for the Chiko & Roko universe.
The project
Digital Collectibles is a web platform born from the Chiko & Roko universe — part NFT marketplace, part community space. The idea was simple: collectors don't just want to own things, they want to belong somewhere.
I worked as a UI/UX Designer directly with the client's art director and dev team, taking the product from concept to 500+ approved screens and interactions.
The work
The core challenge was the social layer. Clubs, competitions, quizzes, chats, comments. Subscription-based features. Public and private profiles. Things most NFT platforms weren't thinking about in 2022.
I was responsible for designing all of it — across web and mobile. The mobile adaptation had its own logic: bottom navigation, full-screen experiences freed from browser chrome, and layouts rethought for thumb reach.
What I enjoyed most
The Artist page was my favourite part — each artist got their own shop and identity within the platform. Alongside that, designing the profile system (with its public/private logic and subscription tiers) was genuinely new territory for me. I liked that.
Design decisions
The community features needed to feel light and fun — not like a dashboard, not like a crypto app. Every screen had to feel like a place people would actually want to hang out in.
Outcome
500+ screens and interactions — designed, iterated, and signed off. A full social NFT platform ready to build.
