Built From Zero. Scaled to a Nation.
A competition management platform for Acrobatic Rock'n'Roll — built from scratch to run everything from a coach registering two athletes to a country manager approving hundreds in one click.
The challenge
National competitions involve thousands of athletes, coaches, judges, and delegates — all moving through the same process, but needing completely different things from it. There was no existing system. We started from zero.
Research & mapping
Before any screens, we mapped the full competition lifecycle — registration, approvals, scheduling, results — and tracked every role moving through it. The CJM made clear how different each user's world actually was.
Role separation
A coach registering two athletes has nothing in common with a country manager processing hundreds of entries at once. Each role needed its own interface logic. We built a role-based access system so every user sees only what's relevant to them — and has exactly the level of control they need.
250+ screens
Each role has its own flows: registration, dashboards, results, schedules. Add states and edge cases across all user types — plus two languages, Russian and English, for local and international use — and the project totalled 250+ screens.
Outcome
The platform runs national competitions. 15,000 athletes are managed in it today.
